We're on a mission to ensure every child, youth, and young adult caring for someone living with a neurological disorder has access to education, resources, and support reflective of their culture and language.

Educate
We equip young caregivers & those who support them with the knowledge & skills they need to thrive. From hands-on skill building through YCare to specialized professional resources, education is at the heart of building informed, confident care communities.
Advocate
We raise awareness and push for systems-level change through powerful storytelling & research. Projects like LUKi & the Lights and our ongoing studies amplify the voices of young caregivers and drive global impact.
Support
No young caregiver should feel alone. Our books & materials help families understand neurological conditions and caregiving in a way that’s approachable, age-appropriate, and rooted in compassion.
Research: It's our DNA
Research isn’t an afterthought, it’s our origin story. Built in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, our work always begins with the voices of young caregivers and is guided by rigorous, ethical, and inclusive research. It’s how we identify real needs, develop meaningful programs, and create lasting impact.
We’re proud to be the only research-backed skills and support program specifically designed for young caregivers.
Evaluation shows our programs empower young caregivers to feel confident in care tasks, care for their own well-being, connect with peers, and see caregiving as something they can manage, not something they face alone.
